Version 1 is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer in Manchester to build, deploy, and optimize AI solutions at scale. You will integrate AI models into business systems, develop production-grade applications, and support the full AI development lifecycle with a focus on reliability and performance.

The role requires practical experience with ML tooling, model evaluation, feature engineering, and cost-efficient inference, plus collaboration with architects and product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ML engineering or data science with production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI-powered apps and services.
• Train, fine-tune, evaluate and deploy ML models.
• Develop RAG systems, AI agents and LLM workflows.
• Design and deploy MLOps pipelines for scalable deployment.
