Job summary

James Adams is recruiting a Senior AI Engineer for a 6-month contract (Outside IR35) to design, build and deploy production-grade AI software remotely. The role focuses on integrating LLMs into live systems with a cross-functional team and requires active UK SC clearance.

You will apply RAG patterns, agentic workflows, evals, and orchestration directly in the product while ensuring reliability and scalability in a high-availability environment, contributing to elevated AI engineering standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years building AI/ML products with production deployment.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures and patterns (RAG, prompt engineering, LLM orchestration).
• Python and/or TypeScript development experience.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and production-grade software.
• Active UK SC Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI software.
• Apply AI architectural patterns including RAG, agentic workflows, evals, and fine-tuning in production.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship solutions quickly.
