Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks an AI Design Specialist to annotate and refine design-focused data for training Grok. You will evaluate visuals across formats, restyle outputs, and craft precise critiques to distinguish strong design from weaker work.

You will collaborate with engineers to set high-quality evaluation rubrics and create reference examples across graphic, UI/UX, web, and game design contexts. Strong design judgment is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated design excellence in at least one professional discipline (graphic, UI/UX, web, game, illustration).
• A portfolio showing finished, high-quality work across media.
• Sharp eye for typography, hierarchy, color, spacing, and clarity of communication.
• Ability to evaluate design quality and articulate what works or not.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate design outputs across formats (visual assets, layouts, websites, prototypes, games).
• Identify and articulate issues that look good but fail in use.
• Refine or recreate outputs to produce strong examples.
• Write precise annotations and critiques on design quality and rationale.
• Help label high-quality datasets spanning design domains.
• Collaborate with engineering on rubrics and evaluation standards.
• Manage multiple briefs and maintain consistent quality.
