Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, CS or Mining Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in mining.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL, Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large mining datasets from production, geological, safety and maintenance sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs for mining operations.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers and operations managers to understand data needs.
• Develop predictive models to forecast outcomes or identify risks.
• Contribute to data governance standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various mining operations (e.g., production, geological, safety, equipment maintenance).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for mining operations.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in mining data.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and operations managers to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
