Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an experienced Advanced Field Service Engineer - Mechanical within the EMEAI Aero Technical Support team. You will investigate and resolve mechanical and electro-mechanical issues on aviation customers across airlines, operators, MROs and OEMs, delivering hands-on on-site, remote, or HUB support as needed.

You will build strong customer relationships, travel across Europe, and share knowledge gained to improve service quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aircraft engineering or extensive equivalent hands-on experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across teams and operate independently.
• Solid experience troubleshooting mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems on aircraft.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role with focus on satisfaction.
• Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship and commuting distance to the office.

Responsibilities

• Being single point of contact for assigned Honeywell Aerospace products and/or system technical issues.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, initiating corrective actions to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide multi-disciplinary technical expertise (mechanical and avionics) and operational guidance.
• Respond to telephone support cases from customers in real time.
• Provide on-site field service support by deploying to customer aircraft locations and visit airline customers Europe-wide.
• Interpret and communicate technical support data; on-the-job training; liaison between Honeywell Aerospace and customer personnel.
