Job summary

A global reinsurance company is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join the International Reinsurance Reserving team. This role involves analytical support for the UK P&C reinsurance reserving team, preparing reserve adequacy studies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with best practices. Candidates should be on track to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) or have similar qualifications. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential, and the position features the option of remote work up to two days a week.

Qualifications

• Progressing towards FIA qualification or similar qualification.
• Some experience in P&C actuarial work.
• Familiarity with general insurance reserving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reserve adequacy studies.
• Assist with quarterly closing tasks, including validating plan ELRs.
• Explore and develop new reserving approaches.
