Job summary

Mercor is seeking a remote 3D Artist & Video Editor to produce high-quality training data for AI models. You will perform real 3D and video editing tasks on your Mac, using Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, and industry-standard tools.

Ideal candidates own a MacBook, run macOS 15+, and bring expertise in modeling, texturing, animation, editing, color grading or motion graphics. This is a contract role with 10–20 hours per week and immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Own a MacBook or Mac with Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, macOS 15+
• Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects
• Experience with modelling, texturing, animation, editing, color grading or motion graphics
• Currently pursuing or recently completed Master’s studies, or have 2–3 years of relevant experience + Bachelor’s from a prestigious institution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete and narrate real 3D and video editing tasks on your Mac to create high-quality training data for AI models
• Utilize tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects
• Work independently with clearly structured responsibilities without high pressure
• Explain creative decisions clearly while working to improve AI model performance
• Collaborate asynchronously to meet deadlines and elevate training data quality
