Job summary

Indra Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Application Operations Manager to lead mobilisation, knowledge transfer and transition for a major TfL programme. You will establish operational readiness, oversee 24x7 support and ensure a smooth handover of complex back‑office platforms.

Working with customers, suppliers and cross‑functional teams, you will drive governance, risk management and service continuity while building an capable future service organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Application Operations or IT Operations within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in service transition, handover, or mobilisation for large programmes.
• Knowledge of 24x7 operational services and incident management.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with ITIL principles across Incident, Change, and Asset Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application Operations workstream through mobilisation and transition.
• Establish and validate operational readiness for future support organisation.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer with suppliers and SMEs, ensuring runbooks and SOPs are captured.
• Provide leadership to the Application Operations team and support recruitment and onboarding.
• Manage stakeholders, risks and dependencies with clear reporting for Go/No-Go decisions.
• Lead Early Life Support post-cutover and stabilisation activities.
• Ensure operations align with ITIL and governance standards.
