Job summary

A leading online education platform is seeking experienced tutors for their ESL program, targeting K-12 students. This independent contractor position offers a flexible schedule allowing tutors to set their own hours. Ideal candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least three years of teaching experience, particularly in K-12 ELA. This role involves providing personalized 1:1 instruction online, maintaining a supportive learning environment, and engaging actively with students. Compensation is $20 USD per class plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Available between 8 AM - 2 PM GMT or 5 AM - 2 PM GMT on weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours availability per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials according to student’s needs.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
