Job summary

A premier online learning platform is seeking independent contractors for tutoring 1:1 ESL lessons. It's ideal for experienced educators to create a fun environment for students, primarily from Singapore and Hong Kong. Tutors will set their schedules and are expected to have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA, and a commitment of at least 20 hours weekly. This role offers $20 USD per class plus incentives, making it a flexible and rewarding opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA for minimum 3 years.
• Familiarity with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners is preferred.
• Ability to commit to 6 months teaching.
• Available minimum 20 hours weekly, specifically during specified hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials based on student needs.
• Submit feedback after each lesson.
