Job summary

An online learning platform is looking for experienced tutors to provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction to ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. As a tutor, you will have a flexible schedule, allowing you to set your own hours, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate should have three years of K-12 ELA teaching experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to create engaging and supportive learning environments. This independent contractor position offers $20 USD per class plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
