Job summary

A leading online learning platform is seeking experienced educators to tutor ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. This independent contractor position offers a flexible schedule, allowing tutors to set their class times. Tutors will provide personalized instruction in an online environment and must have at least 3 years of experience teaching K-12 students. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours of teaching per week. This position is ideal for passionate and reliable educators who can connect with students effectively.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in English Language Arts.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
