Attega Group Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Remedial Drainage Engineer to join their team across the Midlands and Yorkshire. The role focuses on planned and reactive drainage works with a salary up to £43,000 per year, plus overtime.

Key duties include CCTV surveys, tracing and mapping drainage systems, descaling, reporting, and leading site operations. Requires 3 years drainage experience, plumbing experience, and a valid UK driving licence. 50 hours per week; permanent position.

Qualifications

• 3 years drainage experience.
• Plumbing experience required.
• Full UK driving licence held.
• Willingness to support drainage related plumbing works.
• Experience working on commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out coded CCTV surveys and interpret findings to produce remedial recommendations.
• Read and interpret as-built and utility drawings to support tracing and planning of remedial works.
• Produce draft drainage plans mapping manholes, main runs, laterals and assets.
• Operate jetting and HPWJ equipment to a high technical standard, including descaling works.
• Hold CS1 certification (CS2 desirable) and progression expected.
• Operate CCTV units across internal and external systems.
• Carry out comprehensive drainage investigations from start to finish.
• Produce detailed written reports with structured, commercially viable recommendations.
• Lead and manage external descaling works and coordinate with tanker teams.
