Job summary

Amarval Partners Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Religious Studies Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Havering. The role covers KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and encouraging critical thinking across key stages.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, with proven experience in a secondary setting and strong classroom management. A supportive school environment and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level.
• Ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and lesson-planning abilities.
• Genuine passion for Religious Studies and ability to engage and inspire students.
• Right to Work in the UK and DBS checks.

• Create an inclusive classroom where students feel supported and motivated to participate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.
