Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with PGCE or equivalent and degree in the relevant subject.
• Up-to-date DBS certificate and strong knowledge of the British Curriculum.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess lessons to a range of ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and mark lessons to a high standard.
• Provide constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally.
• Carry out summative and formative assessment and track progress.
• Attend departmental meetings and communicate with parents.
• Share best practice within and beyond the department.
• Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom.
