Job Title: Religious Studies Teacher – Bolton – September

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a passionate Religious Studies teacher to join a secondary school in Bolton. The role will start in September and will be full-time for the entire upcoming academic year.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Studies and will be able to motivate, elevate, and challenge students to produce high-quality work and achieve high academic standards. Experience teaching another humanities subject to Key Stage 3 students is advantageous but not essential.

Candidate Profile:

• Has a proven track record of securing excellent pupil results in Religious Studies GCSE exams.
• Can inspire and lead high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Is dynamic and ambitious, capable of building on the success of the subject and ensuring good progress for all pupils.
• Has experience supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioral, and academic needs.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• Minimum pay rate: GBP 153 per day
• Working hours: 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks.
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide at least two professional teaching-related references.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (training can be provided).
• Up-to-date Prevent awareness & FGM training (training can be provided).
