Religious Studies Teacher Job Description

• Ideally hold an undergraduate Degree in Religious Studies/Philosophy from a top university.
• Training or teaching experience in an inner-city school is beneficial.
• Demonstrate the ability to become an Outstanding Religious Studies Teacher.
• Support and scaffold the efforts of the SLT and HOD English.
• Plan and deliver exceptional lessons to KS3, KS4 & KS5.
• Share best practices within the Humanities Department.
• Make excellent use of resources in planning and delivery.
• Monitor and promote progress for all students.

Religious Studies Teacher Person Specification

• Trainee, ECT, and experienced Religious Studies Teachers are welcome to apply.
• Ideally hold an undergraduate Degree in RE or a related field from a top university.
• Similar experience in an inner-city school is beneficial.
