Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a good secondary school in Chesterfield to recruit an experienced Religious Studies and Philosophy teacher for a full-time maternity cover from October to March. You will teach Religious Studies across KS3/KS4 and Philosophy at A-Level, while planning engaging lessons, assessing progress and upholding high classroom standards.

The role requires QTS with the relevant subject, strong KS3/KS4 experience, and Philosophy at A-Level.

Qualifications

• QTS with a relevant subject specialism.
• Strong experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4.
• Experience teaching Philosophy at A-Level.
• Excellent subject knowledge.

The school has a positive working environment and is looking for an experienced Religious Studies Teacher to join the department and contribute to the continued success of its students.

The school is looking to appoint a Religious Studies Teacher on a full-time maternity cover basis from October until March. The successful Religious Studies Teacher will teach Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, alongside Philosophy at A-Level, and will be expected to plan engaging lessons, assess progress and maintain high standards within the classroom.

Key Requirements
