LiveWest Homes Ltd is seeking Relief Youth Development Workers to support Young People aged 16-25 across our East Cornwall schemes (Hendra Lodge Liskeard, Carthew House St Austell, Bodmin Foyer Bodmin, Truro Foyer Truro). You’ll help residents manage tenancy, budgeting, wellbeing and social inclusion, working as part of a larger Support team.
Shifts are ad-hoc, with some periods on site and occasional lone working.
Are you enthusiastic and motivated? Do you want to help make a positive difference in the lives of those we support to promote independence, wellbeing and recovery? Are you able to work flexibly? If so, we want to hear from you.
You will be working as part of a larger Support team to provide support services to our Young people aged 16 - 25. The role includes supporting people to manage their tenancy, understanding benefits and encouraging positive life skills like budgeting, wellbeing and social inclusion.
You will be working shifts on an adhoc basis. You will support and monitor the conduct, health and safety and general welfare of residents with a flexible and sensitive approach.
This role is being offered on a relief contract basis, working flexibly to include days at the scheme as and when required. Sometimes there will be other colleagues on site but you may also be required to lone work at times on site.
Ideally have experience of lone working.
If you are able to work flexibly, and have the above experience, we would love to hear from you.
