Sense is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at our Peterborough college site. This casual role offers flexible shifts and pays £13/hr, with a Monday to Friday pattern and no weekend work. The role focuses on empowering learners with complex needs to gain life skills in everyday activities.

We value dedication, adaptability, and a compassionate approach to support, including potential personal care. A rota will be provided in advance to help you plan your life.

Sense has a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Relief Support Worker based at our College in Peterborough. This is a casual position with flexible shifts, paying £13/hr. The working week operates Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

About the role

• As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose
• You will support individuals and encourage them to make choices, to express themselves and to develop independent living and life skills
• Supporting people at college to learn new skills such as cooking, gardening, music oron trips to locations such as swimming pools, parks and shopping centres

About you

• An awareness of multi-sensory and complex needs
• Able to demonstrate that you possess the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives
• A willingness to undertake personal care for our more vulnerable learners
• Flexibility, as working times do vary and may include weekends and evenings, we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly
