Job description

Join our friendly staff team at Creative Support in Grimsby as a Support Worker. In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities in their daily lives. Every day is unique here, with service users enjoying activities like ice skating and dancing at local discos.

In this rewarding role, you will provide excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and non-verbal communication needs. You will encourage service users to participate in various social activities both within and outside their homes. Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families is essential to help them enjoy their time at the service. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering and monitoring prescribed medication.

We offer full and part-time hours, including weekends and bank holidays. The service has excellent public transport links. As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts across the country and provides service information, including directions. You will be paid weekly. A minimum of twelve months' care experience is required for this role.
