Job summary

United Response is seeking a Relief Support Worker in Torbay to respond flexibly to the needs of people supported by the service. You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and accompany individuals to appointments, work, volunteering, and social activities, fostering independence and choice.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.25 and flexible hours as a relief position within a supportive charity focused on empowerment and inclusion.

  • Build relationships with the people you support and help with day-to-day routines in line with personal support plans (dressing, personal care, finances).
  • Assist with appointments, employment, volunteering, and hobbies as part of the person-centred approach.

Who will you be supporting?

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.
