Job summary

United Response in North Somerset is seeking a Relief Support Worker on a zero-hour contract. The role involves building relationships, supporting individuals with daily routines, personal care, finances, medication, and attending appointments, in line with personal support plans.

You must hold a Full UK Driving licence and be able to drive manual vehicles. The role includes weekend and bank holiday work, and successful candidates will undergo a DBS check.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with dressing, personal care, finances and medication.

Role: Relief Support Worker

Salary: £13.25 per hour (plus an additional 12.07% annual leave allowance)

Location: North Somerset (Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare)

Hours: Relief - Zero Hour Contract

You must hold a Full UK Driving licence and be able to drive manual vehicles to be considered for this role

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.

As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given

Please be aware that this role will involve weekend, bank holiday work and sleep ins. The successful candidate will also be subject to a full DBS check.
