What’s the job?
You’ll step in when needed, working alongside a brilliant team to support our service users. It could be helping someone manage their day-to-day life, lending an ear when they need a chat, or just being a friendly face they can count on. No two shifts are the same and that's exactly what keeps it rewarding.

A typical day might include:

• Helping people with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, or personal care.
• Supporting service users to get out and about, meet new people, or pick up a hobby.
• Keeping an eye on their wellbeing and helping them stay as independent as possible.
• Pitching in with your team to keep the service running smoothly.

What you’ll need:

• An SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or a willingness to work towards your SVQ 3 with our support.
• Basic computer skills enough to email, update notes, and maybe order a cheeky online shop!
• A caring nature, a sense of humour, and a good dose of patience.
• Respect for our Christian ethos and the people we support.

It would be lovely (but not essential) if you also have:

• Experience working in care.
• Additional training like addictions support or counselling skills.
