Job summary

Sense is seeking a Relief support worker for our King's Heath residential service. This casual role offers flexible shift patterns across early and late shifts, with pay of £13 per hour.

No prior experience required, as full training will be provided; however, experience with challenging behaviour is desirable. You will support residents with everyday tasks, personal care, finances, medication, and community activities in a four-bedroom home.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning.

Looking for a new challenge that is life changing?

We are looking for passionate and motivated Relief support workers to join a fantastic team at our residential service in King's Heath.

This is a casual role with flexible shift patterns every week with early shifts ( 7.00am till 2.30pm) and late shifts (2.00pm - 9.30pm), paying £13/hr.
The service is a 4-bedroom, detached home in a residential area and the 3 individuals who live here are deaf, blind, have dual sensory impairments or severe complex needs with elements of challenging needs.

You do not require prior experience as full training will be provided when you start this role. However, prior experience of working with challenging behaviour is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is:
  • Positive, with a can-do attitude

  • Flexible and comfortable working across a varied shift pattern
  • Willing to attend training and develop in their role
This role might include supporting people with:
  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
  • Personal care and hygiene
