Relief Support Worker

Location: The Heathers, Armagh

Contract Type: Contract for Service (flexible as and when required)

Salary: £12.70 per hour

About The Heathers

The Heathers Supported Living provides 24-hour specialist support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, empowering them to live full and independent lives. It is a vibrant community with 23 residents across six accommodation groups, each with tailored support based on their independence levels. Staff support residents in activities like trips to the cinema, zoo, gym, community events, hobbies, and outdoor adventures.

Role Responsibilities

• Encourage independence in daily living skills such as cooking, medication, and money management
• Provide personal care, including washing and dressing
• Accompany residents to appointments, community groups, and social activities
• Support across multiple houses, gaining diverse experience
• Join a skilled team of 43 staff members, including 5 Team Leaders
