Job summary

Ecclesfold Integrated Day Care Centre in Chapel-en-le-Frith is seeking a Relief Senior Care Worker to deliver person-centred care and support older people in the community.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, plan activities, manage medication bookings, and benefit from training opportunities and a defined LGPS pension. The role supports a 7-day service and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of supporting older people, particularly those living with dementia.
• QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Ability to work across a 7-day service (future review may alter opening hours).

Responsibilities

• Work independently and as part of a team to provide person-centred care advice and guidance to colleagues and others.
• Plan and facilitate activities for clients personal service planning and reviews.
• Manage the booking in and administration of medication.
