Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect client property, people and assets in line with published Assignment Instructions and regulatory requirements. Role involves delivering results that meet KPIs/SLAs and supporting contract retention.

You will undertake on-going training, maintain compliance with UK law, and operate with professionalism in all interactions, while following established procedures and reporting incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven background in security operations.
• Valid SIA licence required.
• SC clearance desirable for certain sites.

Responsibilities

• Protect client properties, people and assets per Assignment Instructions.
• Meet/exceed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring contract retention.
• Complete required training for self-development.
• Ensure compliance with UK law and site policies.
• Maintain incident notebooks and report incidents promptly.
• Carry out on-site duties with professional conduct.
