Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover Norwich and Lowestoft, with potential additional areas. The role requires day and night shifts, a full UK driving licence and own vehicle due to site locations, and a valid SIA DS licence.

You will work on corporate client sites, undertaking leave cover, ad-hoc tasks and last-minute shifts. Expect ongoing training, compliance with UK laws, and a focus on maintaining safety and security across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience on corporate sites.
• SIA DS license mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Protect property, people and assets per Assignment Instructions (AI's) and site changes.
• Meet and/or exceed KPIs/SLAs for the customer.
• Undertake additional training for self-development and licence renewals.
• Complete site tasks as defined in Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain accurate incident notebooks and reports.
• Call emergency services and escalation paths as required.
