Job summary

Wilson James is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover the core team's absences across sites in Manchester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Rotherham. The role involves patrols, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents and producing detailed reports.

The position is permanent with zero hours, offering a flexible pattern and opportunities for development within a growing security and services provider.

Qualifications

• Hold a current DS SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority).
• Proven experience in a security role or similar.
• Strong observational skills and ability to respond to threats.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere.
• Conducting patrols and monitoring premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft or vandalism.
• Monitoring access points, CCTV and security procedures.
• Responding to alarms, emergencies and security incidents with appropriate action.
• Completing detailed reports on daily activities and incidents.
• Assisting in evacuations and first aid support if required.
• Travel between multiple client sites across Manchester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Rotherham.
• Work as part of a diverse, supportive team.
