Job Responsibilities

1. Provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.
2. Protect the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.
3. Deliver the highest levels of customer service, demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. (Note: the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before starting operational shifts).
4. Display an outstanding level of customer service.
5. Handle problems that staff and visitors may have responsibly.
6. Maintain the highest standard of personal presentation and uniform to uphold the image of Securitas and the customer.
7. Complete all paperwork promptly and conduct effective handover procedures.
8. Undertake additional duties as requested by Branch Management.
9. Show understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values and recognize workplace risks, prioritizing safety and complying with policies, procedures, and training provided by the Company.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence
• Access to a vehicle or good transport links
• Must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
• Ability to arrive on time for shifts (reasonable commute)
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Security Industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to practice the values of Integrity, Helpfulness, and Vigilance
• Reference to location: Loch Ryan Port, Belfast Way, Stranraer, DG9 8RG
