Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Relief Security Officer to cover shifts across the Midlands region, including Kidderminster, Shrewsbury and Stafford. The role requires a flexible approach, a valid SIA licence, and access to your own vehicle.

You will work day and night shifts, including Sundays, on a full-time basis. You will patrol, control access and CCTV, complete incident reports, and deliver a high standard of customer service in corporate environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding licence.
• Available for day and night shifts, including Sundays.
• Full-time contract with minimum 42 hours per week across a one-month period.
• Driving licence and own vehicle preferred/essential.
• Five year UK residency and five year work history.
• Excellent English written and spoken; able to pass security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security duties and patrols across multiple locations.
• Supervise access, keys and CCTV controls.
• Complete Security Incident / Loss / Accident Reports before handover.
• Assess potential safety hazards and report remedial actions.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and staff.
• Work independently or as part of a team; attend training as required.

The role entitles carrying out security related duties, while providing a 5-star, customer focused service.

The Relief Security Officer will be required to work across multiple locations, on varying shift patterns.

Respond to short notice requests to attend shifts.

Provide outstanding security services on all contracts in the Midlands Region, ensuring that our client meets and exceeds contractual obligations.

Locations include Kidderminster, Shrewsbury and Stafford.

A flexible approach will be required, and access to own vehicle is essential.

Main Duties:

• Applicant must hold valid SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding license.
• Flexibility with shifts as this role will include working days and nights, Monday
• Sunday, covering annual leave, sickness, other absences and additional client requirements.
• Driving license and own vehicle is essential.
• Based on a full-time contract with a minimum of 42hrs a week offset over a one-month period.
• Officer must be able to work at short notice and be willing to work irregular shift patterns.
• Attend training and cover shifts for other regional contracts.
• Carry out patrols, supervise access, key and CCTV controls.
• To ensure all Security Incident / Loss / Accident Reports are completed before shift handover.
• To assess and report potential safety hazards so that remedial action may be taken.
• Excellent customer service skills, experience working in a corporate environment is highly desirable.
• Have a polite and professional attitude to internal and external customers.
• The ability to work independently or as a team.
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent level of English both written and spoken.
• One year minimum experience in the security industry.
• Front of house experience working highly desirable.
• Able to pass Security Clearance
• five year UK residency; five year work history.
• Flexible to work on multiple sites within a 40-mile radius.
