Job summary

Educators in Wales is seeking Relief General Kitchen Assistant at Cwmfelin Primary School to support meal preparation and service during term-time. You will help prepare, present and serve meals to pupils and staff, and ensure a safe, clean dining environment.

Training will be provided for touch screen terminals and for obtaining the Level Two Food Hygiene certificate; a DBS check is required. Working hours are 10:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday, with cover across schools as needed during term

Qualifications

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate required; training provided to obtain it.
• DBS check (Disclosure & Barring Service) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Ensure dining area is clean and safe for pupils and staff.
• Lay out dining tables and chairs; operate touch screen terminals (training provided).
