Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking relief retail security officers to support Tesco, working with our prestigious clients. If you’re willing to learn and develop your career, we provide full training and ongoing support. Location: Manchester and surrounding areas with access to an own vehicle preferred for greater coverage.

Hours vary (6am-3pm, 3pm-11pm/midnight) with pay at £14.15 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package including pension, health plans, Wagestream, and ongoing career

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (legal requirement for front-line licensable activity).
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence is required.
• At least 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and professional in appearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a reassuring security presence.
• Provide a smart, visible, proactive security presence and deterrent.
• Effectively manage conflicts and take control of incidents when needed.
• Control access and egress; conduct security patrols to deter crime.
• Able to engage with the public in a professional manner.
• Be aware of hazards and incidents and respond appropriately.
• Provide guidance and direct customers as the first point of contact.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures.
