Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to provide a visible presence on the shop floor, deter theft and protect customers and colleagues.

The role offers flexible shifts discussed at interview, with guaranteed contracted hours, paid lunch breaks, and ongoing training to support your progression. Uniform provided and SIA licence renewals support are included.

• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.

• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety onsite.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor

• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

What You'll Need

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training - we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)

£13.23 per hour + Paid Lunch Break
