Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Relief Support Practitioner to provide consistent care in a residential setting for children and young people in Port Glasgow. You’ll adapt quickly, maintain routines, and work with colleagues to ensure safe, supportive care.

As a Relief Support Practitioner, you will play an important role in maintaining stability for children and young people by providing cover across shifts when required.

You will need to be ready to step in, adapt quickly and deliver consistent care, even when working with different teams or young people.

What your day could look like

• Supporting children and young people in a residential setting

About you

You will have experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable individuals and be confident working in a flexible role where no two shifts are the same. You will be organised, dependable and able to adapt to different environments while maintaining a consistent approach. You will be comfortable working with a range of behaviours and able to quickly build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 and must hold a full manual driving licence.
