Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a Relief/Bank Registered General Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate care at our residential and nursing homes within the UK Jewish community. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to support residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.

This casual role covers shifts to cover absence, with 12.5 hour shifts and 15-minute handovers. You must be NMC registered (RGN/RMN) with a nursing degree and at least 1 year of experience, preferably with older people or dementia.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
• Bachelor's or Master's nursing degree.
• At least 1 year nursing experience in care/clinical setting.
• Experience leading or supporting care teams.
• Experience administering medication and maintaining records.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude.
• Experience with older people and dementia desirable.

Responsibilities

We are looking for caring, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated multidisciplinary teams and help residents live well in later life.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing. Working closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding standards of care and clinical practice.

You Will

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred care

• Safely administer and manage medication in line with NMC and regulatory guidelines

About You

We are looking for compassionate and professional nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

You Will Have

• Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
• A Nursing degree (Bachelor's or Master's)

• Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records

Working Pattern

This role is for relief/ bank on a casual as and when required basis to cover absence.

Shifts Are

• 7:45- 8:15 (12.5 hour shifts including breaks)
• 11.5 hours paid due to 15-minute handover meetings
