The Vacancy
Are you looking for a role where you can support young people who have experienced homelessness? We have a great role for you supporting and mentoring young people achieve their dreams and goals as a Relief Project Worker.
Your new opportunity
We are currently recruiting Relief Project Worker to join our dedicated WHAT IF male service based in the south side of Glasgow. Our service supports males from the age of 18–25. Some of the young people supported may have experienced trauma and hardship, including abuse, neglect, witnessing experiences such as crime, domestic violence, mental illness, and alcohol/substance use, often resulting in long-term effects on their health, wellbeing, development, and learning.
As a key member of the relief team, you will adapt to each environment as each service offers person-centred support tailored to individual needs. We are looking for people who can build rapport, provide emotional support, and ensure each young person’s voice is heard. #keepthepromise.
This is a relief role and shifts offered will depend on service needs; shifts can typically run as days, evenings, weekends, and nightshifts.
