Orwell Housing Association is seeking a Relief Premises and Security Officer in Lowestoft to cover nights at Phoenix House and Fyffe Centre. The role focuses on safety, security, basic maintenance and admin tasks within a homelessness support setting.
A zero-hour contract enables flexible cover for absence and training needs. You will maintain a visible presence, manage risk, conduct health and safety checks, assist residents, and ensure respectful, rule-compliant interactions while supporting
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Location: Phoenix House and Fyffe Centre (Lowestoft)
Hours: Zero-hour contract to cover absence, training and holiday
Shifts: Night shifts from 9pm - 8am

Are you passionate about empowering people to rebuild their lives and create a brighter future?
You will be part of a team delivering support services to individuals who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness and require low to medium levels of support to help them sustain independent living. You will work alongside customers to ensure their safety and wellbeing, maintain the security of the building, carry out maintenance, health and safety checks, and domestic tasks, and update computer systems with relevant information as required.
