Job summary

Well Pharmacy, part of Bestway Healthcare, seeks a Relief Pharmacy Technician to oversee dispensing operations, stock control and customer service across its community pharmacies in Scotland. You will cover absences and holidays, provide healthcare advice at the counter and support sales duties, including cash handling and displays.

Applicants must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, be GPhC registered, and have an up-to-date DBS/PVG. DBS/PVG checks will be arranged if not current.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and friendly, organised approach.
• Ability to manage stock and coordinate dispensing processes.
• Experience supporting multiple pharmacy teams and handling counter duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise dispensary operations to ensure smooth running.
• Coordinate dispensing of medications safely and accurately while managing stock levels.
• Assist with sales, cash handling and storefront displays as needed.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and provide healthcare advice; handle queries from GP surgeries.
