Job summary

Well Pharmacy is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician to cover absence across surrounding Well Pharmacies. You will lead dispensary operations, coordinate dispensing, manage stock, and act as a part of the customer service team.

You will hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services with GPhC registration and undergo the DBS/PVG check process before starting. DBS/PVG update may be arranged if not on the update service.

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as Pharmacy Technician will be to lead and organise the smooth running of the dispensary and co-ordinate dispensing medication effectively and safely, managing stock levels and be another expert for our customers to talk to, providing healthcare advice and services at the counter. You’ll also assist with sales and general store duties including product displays and cash transactions. As every day is different, you could find yourself getting involved with everything from acting as the first point of contact for customers, managing high volume dispensing transactions for local care homes to dealing with operational queries from GP surgeries.

The Ideal Candidate

As a Relief Pharmacy Technician, you will beresponsible for covering absence and holidays in surrounding Well Pharmacies. You will be working within multiple teams across a number of Community Pharmacies as this role provides crucial support and ensures we provide the best patient and customer service.

You should also have an NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services and GPhC registration.

All successful applicants to this role are required to have an up to date DBS/PVG before their start dates. If you are not on the Automatic Update Service, we will apply for a DBS/PVG for you.
