About the role

As a Relief Pharmacist with us, you’ll provide excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. You won't be based from one pharmacy but will serve across various locations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
  2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
  4. Conducting reviews via audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
  5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have

To succeed, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to improve. Additionally, you will:

  • Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • Demonstrate high professional expertise and respect among stakeholders, peers, patients, and external professionals
  • Have a passion for community pharmacy and delivering excellent care
  • Be collaborative and team-oriented
  • Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
  • Be a great communicator, able to put people at ease and meet diverse needs
