Job summary

Turning Point Scotland is seeking compassionate nurses to support adults with diverse needs at Turnaround Residential Service in Scotland. You will provide practical and emotional support, working 1:1 or with others in a team, focused on person-centred care to help service users achieve everyday goals.

IT skills are required for all vacancies. Where applicable, candidates may need to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.

Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Turnaround Residential Service are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.

As an Nurse, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.

Turning Point Scotland operates a List of Approved Relief Workers who may be contacted by services when there is a need to engage additional workers in order to provide the required support to someone who uses our services. Relief Workers are primarily deployed to cover periods of leave, or sickness absence and to provide additional support during periods of peak activity.
