Job summary

The Relief Manager at Chongie entertainment UK LTD provides full management cover across the Little Vegas venues, stepping in at short notice to maintain trading performance, regulatory compliance and customer standards during planned or unplanned absences, vacancies, and new openings.

The role requires you to quickly establish authority, lead on shift, manage cash and uphold licensing and Safer Gambling responsibilities, including age verification and self-exclusion, across the estate.

Job title: Relief Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager

Contract type: Permanent, full time, salaried

Hours: 40 Hours per week

Requirements: 18 Years old or over, Full driving license

The Relief Manager provides full management cover across the Little Vegas estate, stepping into any venue at short notice to maintain trading performance, regulatory compliance and customer standards during planned absence, unplanned absence, vacancy periods and new site openings.

The role exists to protect continuity. A venue without a manager is a venue at risk — commercially and, more importantly, against the licensing objectives under the Gambling Act 2005. The postholder is expected to reach an unfamiliar site, assume control, and operate to the same standard as the substantive manager from the first shift.

What you will do

• Provide full management cover during absence, vacancies and new openings.
• Lead the venue team on shift and keep standards, service and presentation consistent.
• Own trading performance and cash control for the period of your cover.
• Uphold our licensing and safer gambling responsibilities, including age verification and self-exclusion.

What we are looking for

• Willingness to travel across our estate, and availability for a seven-day rota including weekends and bank holidays.

The practical detail

• You must be 18 or over. This is a legal requirement for working in an adult gaming centre.
• You will need the right to work in the UK.
• Rota's are day shifts, the majority of our venues are 24 hours, published in advance wherever possible. Travel time between home and your allocated venue is part of your working day, and mileage is reimbursed.
