Join us to apply for the Relief Logistics Security Officer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services.

Pay rate: £12.45

Shifts: Various (to be discussed at interview)

Job Overview

Mitie is seeking a Relief Logistics Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe environment, free from crime for visitors and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA license or certificates, although training can be provided in some circumstances.

Vetting

A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is essential; failure to provide this may result in withdrawal of the offer or cessation of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Conduct patrols of the depot
• Provide visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors
• Utilize CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with depot management teams
• Deter theft and other poor practices
• Conduct searches (details to be discussed at interview)
• Respond to incidents or requests for assistance, taking control until emergency services or management arrive
• Highlight breaches of security procedures and internal/external crimes
• Support access and egress systems as required
• Perform gatehouse duties, including vehicle bookings and supporting transport operations (details to be discussed at interview)
• Maintain reasonable PC skills
