Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council seeks a Leisure Assistant for Alford Ski Centre. You will supervise skiing lesson sessions, lead tubing and team-building activities, with shifts mainly in the evenings and some late mornings and weekends, contributing to safe, enjoyable experiences for visitors.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• PVG Scheme clearance or update is required.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required if spent time outside the UK in the last 5 years.
• You will be required to provide this check.
• A confirmed offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.
• Minimum of one reference from current or most recent employer.

Come and join our team at Alford Ski Centre as part of our Leisure Assistant cohort. Main tasks include supervising our skiing lesson sessions, leading our tubing sessions and team building sessions. Hours of work are mainly evenings with some late morning and early afternoon shifts with some weekend work.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
