Job Opportunity: Relief Housekeeper at Lovat Fields Retirement Village

Lovat Fields Retirement Village, part of the Extra Care Charitable Trust, is currently recruiting for a Relief Housekeeper.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in a luxury retirement village located in Milton Keynes.

About the Role

Position Details

• Role: Relief Housekeeper
• Hours: Ad hoc / as required
• Salary: £13.23 per hour
• Location: Lovat Fields, Japonica Lane, Milton Keynes, MK15 9ED

Responsibilities

• Perform spring (sparkle) cleaning of resident apartments
• Operate cleaning machinery (e.g., industrial vacuum cleaners and floor cleaning equipment)
• Maintain a flexible, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude
• Be on your feet for long periods
• Lift loads of up to 25 pounds when necessary
• Manage stock of cleaning materials, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels, ensuring materials are kept in locked cupboards
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is advantageous
• Follow Health & Safety procedures
