Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting Relief General Kitchen Assistants to support school kitchens across the Rotherham Central area. The role is casual, term-time only, with responsibilities including meal prep, serving and maintaining hygiene across multiple sites.

We are currently recruiting Relief General Kitchen Assistants to work on a casual, as-and-when-required basis in a variety of school kitchens in the Rotherham Central Area.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment and food preparation rooms to required standards.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school kitchen.

Working Hours

• Typically 10-15 hours per week
• Mainly during the lunchtime period, approximately 11:00am - 1:00pm
• Term time only
• Casual hours offered on an as-needed basis
