Zusammenfassung

Mencap is seeking Relief Early Years Assistants in Belfast to support children aged 0-4 across our children centre and preschool. These are relief posts with hours offered on an as-needed basis to cover service requirements.

Applicants should have a QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Child Care/Learning and Development or Play-work, plus knowledge of child development and at least 1 year of relevant experience with young children. Interviews will be held in October 2026.

Qualifikationen

• Qualification at QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Child Care, Learning and Development or Play-work.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the provision of stimulating, caring and therapeutic play within an educational environment.
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team and Family Support to provide learning through play and therapy opportunities.
• Support the Early Years team to create a stimulating environment for the children.
