Job summary

ICTS UK Ltd are looking for reliable and technology savvy Relief Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people amongst the sites of our Data Centre client in Hemel Hempstead.

You’ll be required to work 12 hour shifts, and be part of a relief team that will support the ongoing operation to cover holiday and leave. You’ll need to be flexible enough respond to last minute blow outs.

Qualifications

• SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) licence (CCTV) is essential.
• Five years' checkable history and references.
• Pass a criminal records check to required standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent IT skills using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and web apps.
• Willingness to undertake development training.

Responsibilities

• Meet performance targets for alarm response.
• Coordinate manned guarding teams to respond to issues.
• Proactively identify risk and escalate concerns.
• Audit and identify faulty equipment to minimise client risk.
• Liaise with emergency services for alarm activations.

An experienced Control Room Operative, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

• Meeting performance targets for alarm response.
• Coordinating manned guarding teams to respond to issues.
• Proactively identifying risk and escalating any concerns.
• Auditing and identifying any faulty equipment to minimise risks to the client.
• Liaising with emergency services based on fire, intruder, and duress alarm activations.

A SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) licence is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

• Experience working in alarm monitoring in a multi-functional control room.
• Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills
• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Ability to deliver high quality Incident Reports
• Competent IT skills, using packages such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web applications.
• Five years' checkable history and references
• To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
• Willingness to take development training to further your skillset.
